The main customers of CalFormació, SL are large corporations and institutions that require their staff to undergo continuous training. Until recently, the company only offered on-site services on customer premises. These courses obtained optimum results, but the company needed to take an extra step forward in order to make the most of the teaching material outside the working hours of its students. The solution was to set up online courses.
Students can now attend classes during working hours and, on returning home, study lesson materials in greater detail, carry out practical exercises and ask their teachers questions, thanks to an adaptation of the powerful open-source software, Moodle. This task included full translation of the software into Spanish and Catalan, visual optimisation and complete adaptation of the interface to the CalFormació's visual style.
